Silver Stampers got started in 1997 when Irma Hunger placed an ad in
RUBBER STAMP MADNESS magazine and a few stampers answered and got the
Rubber Stamped card exchange going.
It grew to over 100 ladies and a few gentlemen, throughout the U.S., along
the way. A lot of us are also using the embossing folders and
die cuts for cards. I give the cards I receive to a friend who
recycles them into cards for Hospice. A few I hang onto for a while
for inspiration and then give them to her. Silver Stampers is for
people 50 years and up. If you would like information or to join our Silver
Stampers rubber stamp art club you can contact
our current president, Gretchen King at

It has also come to my attention, while visiting
a friend, that some of these pictures looked really terrible
on his screen. This was because of a poorly adjusted monitor. All pictures you
see at this site have been optimized for viewing on a "standard"
Gamma=1.8 to 2.2 monitor. If the inner and outer bands of each color in the
following test pattern do not appear at approximately equal brightness, you may
want to adjust your monitor's brightness and/or contrast controls until they do.
